Munich Re Group in New York City seeks an experienced Facultative Underwriter for US property risk. You will underwrite, price, and negotiate with brokers and clients to build a profitable portfolio, while aligning with global underwriting standards.

The role requires 10+ years in (re)insurance and strong negotiation, client management, and cross-functional collaboration. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, CPCU or similar designations are a plus; travel up to 30% is expected; the company offers

Qualificações

• 10+ years of experience in (re)insurance, broker community and/or corporate risk market.
• 5+ years of underwriting experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; advanced degree or CPCU a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite and price moderate to highly complex Property facultative risk in the US.
• Produce and manage the book of business in line with guidelines and strategies.
• Lead or participate in negotiations with brokers and clients to secure terms.
• Develop client and broker strategies to strengthen market presence.
• Collaborate with teams across London, Munich and globally.
