Job summary

Hines is seeking a Senior Community Manager to oversee daily operations of an assigned property in Baltimore, MD. You will lead the onsite team, drive budget performance, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities include rent collection, vendor payments, inspections, lease enforcement, resident relations, and owner reporting. The role requires flexibility, weekend availability, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Five or more years’ experience as a residential community/property manager or leadership role
• Experience managing 400+ units, single, or combined sites
• Experience with property management software (Entrata preferred) and MS Office for reports
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent verbal and written communication
• Willingness to be on-site five days per week and flexibility for weekends/holidays
• Available for emergencies and able to oversee overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations and onsite team
• Manage budgets and revenue targets, review financial statements, and monitor performance
• Approve invoices and ensure compliance with contracts and insurance requirements
• Lead leasing and renewal processes, including inspections and enforcement
• Maintain resident satisfaction, respond to issues, and report performance to owners
• Coordinate maintenance, safety, and vendor management; ensure property meets standards
• Liaise with owners and provide property updates and tours as needed
• Provide leadership in hiring, training, and performance management
