AAA is seeking a Claims Senior Property Adjuster to support the Property Claims operation for Homeowner policies. The role involves interpreting First Notice of Loss reports, investigating, evaluating coverage, and negotiating to resolve mid-to-high complexity claims.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of property claims experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with claims software. Occasional travel and licensing may be required as per state regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4-6 years Prior claims handling experience. Required
• 4-6 years Property claims administration experience. Preferred
• Working knowledge of claims administration best practices and procedures.
• Moderate knowledge of fault assessment, negligence and subrogation principles required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, general computer software and claims software.

Responsibilities

• Identify and obtain statements from insureds, vendors and witnesses and conduct investigations.
• Explain coverages, benefits, and claims process in writing or verbally per regulations.
• Evaluate, decide and negotiate within settlement authority to resolve first-party claims across markets.
• Coordinate with internal and external departments as required.
• Demonstrate discretion and independent judgment in analysis and problem-solving.
• May attend and participate in legal proceedings.
