AAA is seeking a Claims Property Adjuster to support our Homeowner policy line. The role involves investigating claims, evaluating coverages, negotiating settlements, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities include interviewing insureds and witnesses, coordinating with other departments, and participating in legal proceedings if required. A valid driver’s license is required and some states may require an adjuster license.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years prior claims handling experience required.
• 4–6 years property claims handling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of claims administration best practices and procedures.
• License requirements may apply for some states.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations to determine coverage and damages.
• Explain policy coverages and claims process to insureds in writing or verbally.
• Evaluate, decide, and negotiate within settlement authority for first‑party claims.
• Coordinate with internal/external departments and participate in legal proceedings if needed.
• Respond quickly to insured needs and problems.
