Job summary

IAT Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Claims Services (Large Loss/Major Case Property) to lead the Large Loss Property claims teams from an office location, with hybrid in-office schedule and remote options.

The role requires 8+ years of property claims experience and 3+ years of leadership, plus an active insurance license. Travel is under 25%. Fully remote arrangements may be considered for the ideal candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years relevant Commercial/Homeowners Property claims experience or equivalent.
• 3+ years of Management/Leadership experience.
• Must currently hold or be able to obtain, within 3 months, applicable Insurance License(s).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate internally and externally.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States and must not require VISA sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Large Loss/Major Case Property claims teams to ensure operational efficiency.
• Provide ongoing training, mentoring, coaching and guidance to staff.
• Ensure that any investigation/settlement/reserve/coverage matters are appropriately managed.
• Establish and maintain critical relationships with key stakeholders.
• Work with the AVP of Property on various matters as needed.
• Travel as required for business purposes, less than 25%.
