Job summary

AlphaStaffHCM client seeks a Field Property Adjuster Specialist in Seattle, WA to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle complex property claims using a virtual-first approach with on-site inspections.

Applicants must have 2+ years of field adjusting experience, Xactimate proficiency, and an active Property & Casualty license within 90 days. Role requires travel and CAT readiness. Compensation includes paid overtime for an hourly, non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Licensed Property & Casualty adjuster within 90 days and up to 3 attempts.
• Experience adjusting complex property claims including dwelling and structure damages.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction and policy interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of complex property claims with coverage analysis and liability review.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for complex resolutions and regulatory compliance.
• Investigate damages using various sources and identify subrogation opportunities.
• Assess coverage, loss history, and SIU referrals when appropriate.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and document thoroughly.
