Job summary

CRC Group seeks a Senior Claim Specialist in the United States to manage a portfolio of moderately complex property and casualty claims from intake to resolution.

You will conduct investigations, review policy coverage, analyze facts, and negotiate settlements within authority while ensuring cost control and fairness. Collaboration with internal teams, legal counsel, and external vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management or related field preferred.
• 5–7 years of claims handling experience in property & casualty.
• Experience with claims management systems and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of moderately complex property and casualty claims from intake to resolution.
• Conduct thorough investigations, gather statements, review policy coverage, and analyze documentation.
• Evaluate exposure and potential liability based on policy language and facts.
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits while controlling costs.
• Maintain accurate documentation, claim notes, and reports per internal standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, legal counsel, and external vendors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and SLAs.
• Provide responsive communication and superior service to policyholders and brokers.
