Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field preferred.
• 5-7 years of relevant claims handling experience with property & casualty knowledge.
• Appropriate state adjuster license or ability to obtain within timeframe.
• AIC or CPCU coursework preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations: statements, policy coverage review, documentation analysis.
• Evaluate exposure and potential liability based on policy language and facts.
• Maintain accurate claim notes and reports in line with internal standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, legal counsel, and external vendors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, internal policies, and SLAs.
