The Senior Claim Specialist investigates, evaluates, and resolves moderately complex claims within guidelines and authority levels, delivering timely, fair, and cost-efficient handling while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5–7 years of property & casualty claims experience, and an appropriate state adjuster license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• 5–7 years claims handling experience with property and casualty knowledge.
• Experience with claims management systems and standard office software.

Responsabilités

• Handle a portfolio of moderately complex property and casualty claims from intake to resolution.
• Conduct thorough investigations, including gathering statements and reviewing policy coverage.
• Evaluate exposure and potential liability based on policy language and facts.
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits while ensuring cost control and fairness.
• Maintain accurate documentation and claims notes in compliance with internal standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, legal counsel, and external vendors as necessary.
