Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Insurance, Risk Management.
• 5–7 years of claims handling experience in property and casualty.
• Experience with claims management systems and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of moderately complex property and casualty claims from intake to resolution.
• Conduct investigations, gather statements, review coverage, and analyze documentation.
• Evaluate exposure and potential liability based on policy language and facts.
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits while ensuring cost control.
• Maintain documentation, claim notes, and reports per internal standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, legal counsel, and external vendors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and service-level agreements.
• Provide responsive communication to policyholders, brokers, and stakeholders.
