Job summary

Colorado Intergovernmental Risk Sharing Agency (CIRSA) in Denver seeks a Senior Property/Casualty Claims Representative to investigate and resolve complex property and liability claims, including subrogation where appropriate.

You will work under the Claims Manager, with duties spanning investigation, coverage interpretation, litigation oversight, settlements, and client communication, while enjoying a flexible, hybrid schedule that supports work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible property/liability claims handling experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; CPCU, AIC, AEI designations encouraged.
• Knowledge of CGIA and experience handling federal civil rights claims helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve property/liability claims and pursue recovery through subrogation.
• Manage litigation and defense strategies and oversee defense counsel.
• Record data, document claim information, and communicate with members and vendors.
• Identify trends and advise on loss control measures to CIRSA members.
