JLL is seeking a Senior Accountant Associate I to join its Client Accounting Services team in Westmont, IL. You will manage complex accounting tasks, prepare financial statements, and partner with property teams and clients to deliver accurate, timely reporting.

The role emphasizes audit coordination, budget support, and maintaining strong controls while supporting a growing portfolio and enhancing client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Real estate accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with MRI or Yardi software.
• Strong MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly/quarterly property financial statements for a 4–6 property portfolio by client deadlines.
• Prepare and distribute monthly/quarterly financial reports including journal entries and bank reconciliations.
• Serve as a resource to site property teams and respond to client inquiries.
• Oversee internal and external audits and coordinate with departments on audit requirements.
• Oversee bank reconciliations, cash management for loan servicing, and disbursement processing.
• Coordinate Accounts Payable by reviewing invoice coding and approvals with controls.
• Assist with annual budget preparation by compiling assumptions and ensuring timely entry.
