Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) seeks a Senior Associate I to partner with property management and clients, delivering accurate monthly and quarterly financial statements for a portfolio of 4-6 properties in Westmont, IL. You will handle journal entries, bank reconciliations, and audits, while supporting budgeting and year-end close under established deadlines.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 2+ years real estate accounting experience, and proficiency with MRI or Yardi

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 2+ years of accounting experience in real estate preferred.
• Experience with MRI or Yardi and Excel.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate accounts payable and ensure internal controls compliance.
• Serve as primary accounting resource for on-site property teams.
• Oversee cash management activities and external reporting.
• Support annual budget preparation and year-end close.
