Job summary
HII Newport News Shipbuilding in Newport News, VA, is seeking a role that oversees operational aspects of ongoing projects, serving as a liaison between project management, planning, and line management. You will review project status, budgets, schedules, and prepare status reports.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher with relevant exempt experience.
- Master's Degree with relevant professional experience.
- NNS Apprentice School and NNPS credentials are valued.
- Military experience or paygrade E-5+ is preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, shipbuilding, or related fields.
Responsibilities
- Oversees and manages operational aspects of ongoing projects.
- Serves as liaison between project management, planning, team, and line management.
- Reviews project status, budgets, schedules, and prepares status reports.
- Develops mechanisms to monitor progress and coordinate problem solving with stakeholders.
- Supports enhancements to onboarding, training, and knowledge sharing initiatives.
