Job summary

HII's Newport News Shipbuilding division seeks a Manager of Training Administration to oversee the administrative infrastructure for workforce training programs. You will ensure proper scheduling, resource allocation, documentation, and data integrity to support high-volume training operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of applicable professional/supervisory experience; Master’s Degree and 2 years of relevant experience acceptable.
• Equivalencies: NNS Apprentice School, NNPS graduate, Associate’s Degree + 2 years exempt, Military Paygrade E-5+, or 4–8 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day administrative operations supporting instructor-led and hands-on training programs.
• Coordinate course scheduling, enrollment, attendance, completion, and training records.
• Provide oversight of training records, LMS transactions, and data integrity.
• Develop annual training budgets and monitor expenditures.
• Oversee procurement of training materials, equipment, and facilities.
• Coordinate training quality, class observations, and improvement actions.

Navy Nuclear Power School

Associate's Degree or 2-year program + 2 years exempt

Military Paygrade E-5 or above
