Job summary

Universal Orlando is seeking a seasoned Project Controls Scheduler to develop, integrate, and manage master schedules across the project lifecycle for theme park developments. The role involves initiating and tracking schedules, coordinating with design, construction, and production teams, and reporting progress to senior management.

Candidates should have 7+ years in engineering/construction scheduling, a strong Primavera background, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years engineering/construction planning and scheduling experience.
• 5+ years theme park planning/coordination experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Solid understanding of project controls applications and earned value measurement.

Responsibilities

• Prepares project life cycle and project master schedules using Primavera; develops integrated plans from multiple drawings and specs.
• Provides schedule guidance during all project phases and coordinates with estimators/finance for scope and durations.
• Leads planning and coordination meetings; collects progress, evaluates variances, and develops workaround plans.
• Develops earned value tracking tools and progress curves; produces reports for leadership.
• Communicates with vendors, consultants and core team on complex topics.
