Job summary

Universal Orlando is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to manage the daily operations of a theme park construction site in Orlando, FL. You will coordinate Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Architects, Engineers, Vendors and park departments to ensure safety, quality, and schedule.

Responsibilities include resolving drawing conflicts, enforcing QC, coordinating inspections, leading safety meetings, maintaining records, and interpreting plans for field teams.

Qualifications

• Two year education beyond high school or equivalent in technical field.
• Minimum 5+ years of construction site supervision experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and develop as-builts.
• Strong communication with contractors, consultants and owners.
• Proficiency with Meridian Prolog and MS Office software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee smooth operation of the job site, ensuring cleanliness, order, coordination, efficiency and productivity.
• Resolve conflicts in drawings/specifications by coordinating with consultants and sub-trades.
• Enforce quality control and monitor contractor schedules to meet standards.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants/authorities as required.
• Schedule, coordinate and lead job site safety meetings.
• Maintain daily/weekly/monthly records of activity and milestones.
• Provide interpretation of plans to contractors and subcontractors.
• Report on on-site labor quantities and monitor material on-site.
• Check layout work competently and accurately.
• Adhere to Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities per policy.
