Job summary

Hatch in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Senior Site Planner / Scheduler to lead and manage complex project schedules across all phases. You will collaborate with engineering, procurement and construction teams, ensure alignment with scope and timelines, and mentor junior planners.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in metals/industrial EPCM environments, deep CPM knowledge, and proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project. This role is site-based and offers growth within Hatch's global operations.

Qualifications

• In depth understanding of EPCM industry and practices.
• 15+ years of proven experience on complex metals projects.
• Strong ability to prepare logic diagrams, CPM networks and bar charts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and MS Project is essential.
• Knowledge of resource leveling and earned value analysis.
• Ability to coach and mentor junior planners.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules using WBS and AWP.
• Lead Integrated Planning Sessions and gather inputs from disciplines.
• Sequence work packages and develop network models.
• Create schedule development plans and basis of schedule.
• Establish critical path and overall project duration.
• Prepare Level 1–3 schedules and summarize detailed plans.
• Analyze schedule performance, RVIs, and risks; recommend actions.
• Support schedule risk assessment and contingency development.
• Maintain progress updates and management reports.
• Participate in change management and track schedule impacts.
