Job summary

VoltaGrid is seeking a Lead Project Scheduler to join our Houston team. The role leads the planning, development, and oversight of integrated schedules across large-scale construction and energy projects, partnering with executive leadership to ensure on-schedule execution.

The ideal candidate has 8–12 years of scheduling experience, advanced Primavera P6 skills, and a proven ability to forecast, manage risks, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams. This is an on-site, exempt position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 8–12 years of scheduling or project controls for large industrial or energy programs.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 required; experience with other tools preferred.
• Experience integrating CPM schedules, earned value, and forecasting across multi-phase projects.
• PMO or project controls certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage integrated master schedules for multiple concurrent capital projects.
• Lead scheduling strategy using Primavera P6 and other planning tools.
• Create resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules to support forecasting and controls.
• Perform critical path, float, earned value, and schedule variance analyses to identify risks.
• Coordinate with PMs, construction, engineering, procurement, and leadership to define execution plans.
• Present schedule health and forecasts to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Integrate contractor schedules into the master schedule and resolve conflicts.
• Mentor junior schedulers and contribute to standards, dashboards, and reporting.
