Job summary

Luster is seeking Project Schedulers to lead CPM-based scheduling across large heavy-civil programs including highways, bridges, transit, water, and airports. You’ll craft logic-driven CPM schedules, fold in procurement and third-party dependencies, and convert field data into clear progress updates and forecasts for stakeholders.

This role requires 5+ years in heavy-civil scheduling, proficiency with Primavera P6, TILOS, MS Project, and related tools, and strong communication and organizational

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years hands-on scheduling experience for large >$500M heavy-civil projects.
• Experience with CPM baseline schedule development, resource/cost loading, progress updating, and variance analysis.
• Ability to translate scope to logic-driven, sequenced, resource-aware schedules.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, TILOS, MS Project, Bluebeam, RSMeans and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an integrated CPM schedule covering design through turnover with linked activities and cost control.
• Collect field progress data, update status, and produce look-aheads, variance reports, and earned-value forecasts.
• Run critical path and what-if analyses; test sequencing options and recovery plans.
• Integrate third-party interfaces, permitting, long-lead procurement, and external dependencies.
• Generate narrative reports, Gantt charts, S-curves, and KPI dashboards for stakeholders.
• Perform schedule-risk assessments using Monte Carlo simulations and track mitigation actions.
• Support change orders and Time Impact Analyses linking delays to cost and entitlement.
• Enforce schedule governance and mentor junior schedulers.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field

Master’s degree in engineering or construction management

PSP (AACE), PMI-SP, PMP (PMI), CCM (CMAA) certification
