Job summary

Miller Electric Company in Tampa, FL seeks a Senior Project Recruiter to support talent acquisition for commercial, healthcare, industrial, mission-critical, and data center projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for electrical construction, specialty contracting, or mission-critical/data center projects.
• Proven success recruiting project-based and leadership roles in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong sourcing and networking skills with passive candidates.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities.
• Experience with ATS and sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and similar tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to develop recruiting strategies aligned with staffing needs.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, interviewing, offering, and onboarding coordination with HR.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for key roles.
• Develop proactive sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, referrals, networking, databases, and unions.
• Conduct detailed candidate assessments focusing on qualifications, leadership, project experience, safety, and cultural alignment.
• Forecast workforce needs for various project types and environments.
• Support strategic hiring in union and non-union settings.
• Build relationships with candidates and represent the Miller Electric brand.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting metrics in the ATS.
• Provide regular pipeline updates and market intelligence to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and labor agreements.
• Drive continuous improvement in recruiting processes and employer branding.
