Job summary

TR Miller Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical is seeking a Recruiter to own the full-cycle recruitment process, building strong relationships with candidates and department leaders. You will proactively identify talent, maintain organized processes, and plan for current and future staffing needs.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or closely related experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems, job boards, and recruiting technology.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations in Illinois and Indiana.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, offer coordination, and pre-employment follow-up.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, performance expectations, staffing priorities, and the characteristics of successful team members.
• Proactively identify and engage qualified candidates for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sales, customer service, operations, and corporate positions.
• Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for both immediate openings and anticipated future hiring needs.
• Conduct thorough and consistent candidate screenings to evaluate qualifications, relevant experience, motivation, and alignment with TR Miller's core values.
• Coordinate interviews and ensure hiring managers receive timely, accurate candidate information and feedback.
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process to create a positive, professional experience.
• Ensure recruiting activities and candidate records are accurately documented within Paylocity and other approved recruiting platforms.
