Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Manufacturing Process Development engineer to lead advanced assembly and machining processes, applying DOE, FEA, and PFMEA to deliver robust, cost-effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with Platform Development and cross-functional teams, assess new technologies, and travel up to 30% domestically or internationally. Requirements include a BS in engineering and 8+ years of related experience; proficiency in CAD software is expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of relevant Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Or an Engineering Technology degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing projects, providing direction, guidance and engineering expertise to team members.
• Facilitate project flow involving regular contact with engineering, manufacturing and other cross functional teams when necessary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to make formal presentations regarding project status to team and management.
• Provide input with cross functional teams of baseline staffing and skillset required as related to the operational complexity of the process.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work in a team environment and challenge status quo with respect to drive the best solutions for the business.
• Lead operations milestone delivery through the VIGOR process.
