Job summary

Milwaukee Tool in the United States is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer I to develop and improve manufacturing processes, tooling and equipment, applying mechanical engineering fundamentals in a cross-functional environment.

You will use CAD tools like SolidWorks or AutoCAD, perform DOE and PFMEA, plan trials, and drive continuous improvement with a focus on safety, quality, throughput and cost; travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering field required.
• Foundational knowledge of mechanical systems, tooling, and documentation.
• Experience with DOE, PFMEA, Control Plans and SPC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document manufacturing processes within scope.
• Create layouts and tooling concepts using SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Lead small mechanical/process-improvement projects with guidance.
• Support equipment installation, validation and troubleshooting.
