Job summary

Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) is seeking an Associate/Coordinator level Project Operations Coordinator to be based in Aiken, SC, on the Savannah River Site. The role coordinates operational aspects of project work streams and acts as liaison between project management, team, and line management to expedite execution.

Qualified candidates will have engineering/technical or related degrees with practical experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical, or science discipline; or
• Bachelor's degree in a non-technical discipline and practical experience in operations/maintenance, project, or technical area; or
• Associate's degree and practical experience in operations/maintenance, project, or technical area; or
• High School Diploma/GED and practical experience in operations/maintenance, project, or technical area

Responsibilities

• Acts as work stream leader for limited operational project activities, serving as point of contact and liaison for activities within the scope of work stream.
• Coordinates field walk downs to establish/verify as-is condition prior to project work stream implementation, and supports housekeeping, facility safety inspections, etc.
• Prepares and maintains detailed scope documentation for project work stream modifications.
• Maintains awareness of scheduled project work and coordinates resources to meet task readiness.
• May represent the project team in status, integration or other meetings.
