Job summary

ProSidian Seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Construction - Engineering (CO102) for Savannah River Site / Aiken, SC. This exempt role supports DOE-SRS and SRMC with BOA services, providing field construction oversight and coordination.

Responsibilities include planning, design reviews, material takeoffs, field inspections, hazard analyses, and turnover. Candidates should have construction mechanical engineering experience, knowledge of ASME codes, and the ability to work at site conditions.

Qualifications

• Construction mechanical engineering principles apply to field conditions.
• Experience with ASME tank fabrication/installation, HV, insulation and related codes.
• Knowledge of SRS mechanical guides and standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee mechanical field construction activities including procurement and installation.
• Coordinate with design and QA to ensure constructability and codes compliance.
• Inspect materials, equipment, and workmanship against drawings and specs.
• Develop work execution plans, hazard analyses, and material take-offs.
• Lead pre-job briefings, field coverage, and turnover documentation.
