Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) in Aiken, SC, seeks a Work Control Planner or Senior Work Control Planner to develop work packages for equipment and system modifications by non-union staff at the Savannah River Site.

The role involves analyzing drawings, estimating materials and labor, incorporating safety and testing requirements, and obtaining necessary approvals; Senior role adds complex packages and cross-team coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science, or equivalent work control experience.
• Alternative: non-technical degree with practical work control or maintenance experience.
• Associate's degree in a technical field plus relevant work experience.
• High School diploma with practical work control or maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and issue work packages of low to moderate complexity.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications for modifications.
• Analyze time, materials and labor estimates with Davis Bacon screening.
• Develop preventive maintenance records and work packages.
• Create lockouts and energy isolation procedures.
• Coordinate with SMEs and other teams for approvals and reviews.
• Ensure post-maintenance testing requirements are included.
