Job summary

McKee Utility Contractors is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a major water and wastewater infrastructure project in the Austin/San Marcos, TX area. You will lead planning, scheduling, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and quality results.

The role requires a strong background in civil or mechanical engineering, 4+ years in water/wastewater construction, and proficiency with Primavera P6, safety compliance, and subcontractor management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in water and wastewater construction or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and review shop drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Utilize Primavera P6 to monitor timelines and milestones.
• Procure necessary materials and scopes of work for project execution.
• Maintain as-built documentation as the project progresses.
• Ensure safety standards and regulations are followed on the project.
• Monitor, review and document work in progress on a routine basis.
• Organize and manage subcontractor activities and coordination.
• Prepare and submit daily logs and periodic progress reports.
