Job summary

McKee Utility Contractors is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager for a project in the Austin/San Marcos, TX area. You will manage schedules, budgets, safety, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure project success.

The ideal candidate holds a related Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in water/wastewater construction, with strong communication and leadership skills; Primavera P6 is used for planning and progress tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in water and wastewater construction; or equivalent experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all Project Stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and review shop drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Utilize Primavera P6 to monitor timelines and milestones.
• Procure necessary materials and scopes of work for project execution.
• Maintain as-built documentation as the project progresses.
• Ensure safety standards and regulations are followed on the project.
• Monitor, review and document work in progress on a routine basis.
• Organize and manage subcontractor activities and coordination.
• Prepare and submit daily logs and periodic progress reports.
