Job summary

Protecnium, an international engineering firm, seeks a Senior Project Manager for utility-scale solar EPC construction in the United States. The role centers on full construction delivery from mobilization to commissioning.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure safety, schedule, cost, and quality across large-scale PV projects, with initial onsite assignment in The Woodlands, TX and eventual site relocation.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, mobilization, construction execution and final handover.
• Take full responsibility for project schedules, budgets, forecasting, productivity and financial performance.
• Direct field operations and coordinate Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities.
• Manage subcontractors and major suppliers, including change orders, claims and commercial matters.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE), quality and contractual requirements.
• Identify and manage project risks, recovery plans and critical path issues.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, project owners, utilities, authorities, engineering partners and internal management.
• Prepare executive reports, forecasts and progress reviews.
• Support procurement, constructability assessments and resource planning.
• Lead commissioning coordination, project close-out, turnover documentation and lessons learned.
• Monitor construction progress, productivity and overall project performance to ensure successful delivery.
