Job summary

TAR is seeking a Project Manager based in Austin, TX to lead utility-scale renewable energy projects from planning through commissioning. You will administer EPC contracts and coordinate suppliers, engineers and field crews directly on-site, ensuring schedule adherence and budget compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in project management for solar+PV projects, with strong proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6 and a bias toward decisive action in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project management roles.
• Experience on utility-scale solar+PV projects.
• Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Experience administering EPC contracts, including scope and change orders.
• Strong understanding of schedule analysis and baselines.
• Bias toward action and able to make high-consequence decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Build the project schedule and drive EPC workstreams from planning to commissioning.
• Control costs by tracking budgets, forecasts and change orders.
• Administer EPC contracts and ensure contractor performance and accountability.
• Coordinate supply chain, engineering, commissioning and field resources.
• Identify gaps and mitigate scope creep and risks.
• Drive projects to closure with owners and stakeholders.
