Job summary

AEP Service Corporation in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an experienced Project Manager Senior/Principal to lead complex projects within a matrix team environment. You will guide planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout with a focus on safety, cost control, and customer satisfaction.

You will supervise project plans, budgets, staffing, and procurement, while communicating status to diverse stakeholders and driving continuous improvement in project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field with required experience.
• Two (2) years of project management experience is preferred, or demonstrated competencies in related areas.
• PMP certification is preferred but not required.
• Valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and supervise assigned project and outage work activities for customers.
• Utilize Waterfall or Agile methodologies to manage projects and ensure safety and efficiency.
• Supervise and develop project plans, budgets, tools, schedules and staff.
• Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
• Lead planning meetings and provide detailed written reports for stakeholders.
• Build and nurture relationships with internal and external customers, vendors and regulators.
