Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Project Manager in the Power sector to lead transmission routing and siting projects. You will develop buildable solutions with project teams and stakeholders to support reliable power systems.

You will manage scope, schedule and budget, mentor newer staff, and build key client relationships while traveling about 10–20% of the time. This role offers employee-owned, collaborative growth within a top US practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10 years of related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Proficient with MS Office, estimating and scheduling software.
• Ability to interact with design teams and communicate effectively.
• Active participant in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop buildable routing and siting solutions for electric facilities.
• Collaborate with project teams, utility staff and consultants.
• Engage with government agencies, regulators and landowners.
• Prepare testimony and studies for route and site decisions.
• Manage project scope, schedule and budget.
• Mentor and develop newer staff and deliver client work.
• Build relationships with HDR and utility staff.
• Contribute to strategic thinking and client relations.
• Travel 10-20% of the time.
