Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Project Leader to drive multi-million-dollar, enterprise-wide initiatives in the healthcare space. You will interface with executives, mentor PMs, and shape the project portfolio process across the organization.

The role emphasizes budgeting, prioritization, governance, and vendor selection, with leadership responsibilities for cross-functional teams and strategic programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or related field.
• 5+ years managing project teams and implementations.
• PMP or equivalent certification required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• 5+ years of healthcare project management preferred.
• Certified Associate in Project Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide, cross-functional, large-scale strategic projects including multi-million-dollar initiatives.
• Drive alignment, organization and successful delivery of projects.
• Manage change associated with large projects.
• Interface with top-level executives.
• Support development and sustainment of an industry-standard project portfolio management process.
• Develop system-wide project tools, methodology and training for leaders.
• Mentor leaders and project managers in project management.
• Plan, organize and manage system-wide organizational projects greater than $5 million.
• Assess, evaluate and recommend technical and business solutions.
• Develop, negotiate and implement project prioritization processes.
• Balance resource requirements and determine project staffing needs.
• Oversee project planning, execution and monitoring deliverables, including timelines and costs.
• Forecast, develop and manage project capital and operating budgets.
• Facilitate return-on-investment analysis.
• Evaluate vendor product offerings and lead selection processes.
• Facilitate development, negotiation and management of associated contracts.
• Develop standards for project deliverables.
• Identify system-standard project management tools and methodologies.
• Coach leaders and project managers on effective use of project management tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, healthcare or related field
• 5+ years of progressive experience managing project teams and implementations
• Project management professional or equivalent required
• Master's degree in Business, healthcare or related field preferred
• 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• 5+ years experience of project management in healthcare preferred
• Certified Associate in Project Management preferred
• Ability to perform sedentary work, including lifting up to 10 lbs. occasionally and negligible weight frequently
