Job summary

RIMEPRO INC in Sacramento, CA seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead complex special projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will own project strategy, financial performance, and client relationships while guiding the team with seasoned leadership.

Responsibilities include bidding, procurement, cost control, and risk mitigation, partnering with field leadership to keep schedules. Candidates need 6+ years PM experience, a construction degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive construction project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction and all major building trades, including MEP.
• Experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Strong estimating, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control skills.
• Experience developing and maintaining detailed project schedules.
• Comfortable working directly with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal leadership.
• Strong understanding of the building permit and inspection process.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project or Primavera P6, PowerPoint, and construction management software.
• OSHA 10 certification
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem solving skills

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout and handoff to operations.
• Develop project strategies, budgets, schedules, procurement plans, and risk mitigation plans.
• Lead the subcontractor bidding, selection, buyout, and contract process.
• Manage project financials including cost control, forecasting, billing, change orders, and financial reporting.
• Lead client and owner meetings while building long-term relationships with stakeholders.
• Partner with Superintendents and field leadership to resolve challenges and keep projects on schedule.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, document control, inspections, permits, and closeout.
• Identify project risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support business development through RFQs, RFPs, client presentations, and relationship development.
• Mentor Project Engineers, Project Coordinators, and other project team members.
