Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee construction projects from start to finish. The role is based full-time on a jobsite in Yerington, NV and will require travel to meet milestones.

You will lead a project team, manage budgets, safety plans, reporting, and relationships with Owners, Architects and Subcontractors to deliver quality, on-schedule work. A degree in engineering/construction or architecture and 8–10 years of field PM experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent experience.
• Field construction management experience (8-10 years).
• Leadership ability and strong sense of urgency.
• Problem-solving skills with good organizational abilities.
• Strong communication; drafting and computer skills.
• Knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Familiarity with scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Project Manager responsibilities and manage large, complex projects.
• Estimate and establish budgets and contract price (GMP/Lump Sum).
• Negotiate subcontract and material purchases for cost efficiency.
• Set up procedures to ensure timely buyout, shop drawing approval and delivery.
• Maintain project schedule and reporting to management.
• Lead project team, organize meetings with owners and subs.
• Review contracts for compliance and manage change orders.
• Direct preconstruction activities and bid package issuance.
• Support business development and participate in interviews.
• Ensure quality control and complete project close-out and warranty walks.
