Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee construction projects from start to finish. This full-time on-site role is based at a jobsite in Yerington, NV and will require travel to project sites across the region.

You will lead project teams, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate with owners, architects and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance. Experience in GMP/Lump Sum contracts and preconstruction activities is preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent experience.
• Field construction management experience (8-10 years, including supervisory skills).
• Leadership ability and strong sense of urgency.
• Problem-solving ability and organizational/communication skills.
• Drafting and computer skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Thorough understanding of project management control systems (scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating).

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple or large, complex projects and budgets.
• Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases.
• Set up job procedures for buyout, shop drawings, and material delivery.
• Keep project on schedule and maintain timely reporting to management.
• Supervise project team and organize regular meetings with management and subcontractors.
• Review contract conditions and ensure compliance with terms.
• Direct preconstruction services and bid package activities.
• Assist with business development and participate in interviews.
• Maintain quality control and warranty follow-up.
