Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee construction project management, ensuring successful completion. The role is on-site at a project location in Yerington, NV, with travel required.

You will supervise project teams, manage budgets, procure subcontracts, and coordinate with owners and subcontractors to deliver quality results. You will lead safety planning, reporting, and close-out activities while maintaining adherence to contract terms and company policies.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent experience.
• Field construction management experience (8-10 years, including supervisory skills)
• Leadership ability
• Problem-solving ability and strong sense of urgency
• Organizational and communication skills
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting
• Thorough understanding of all project management control systems (scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating)

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple or large, complex projects and keep them on schedule.
• Estimate and establish budgets and contract price (GMP/Lump Sum).
• Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases.
• Set up and implement job procedures to ensure timely buyout, shop drawing approval and material delivery.
• Direct preconstruction services and activities; review contract conditions for compliance.
• Complete all job close-out procedures and conduct warranty follow-ups.
