Job summary

SOLV Energy in Yerington, NV seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee construction projects on-site. You will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, and safety programs while traveling as needed to support multiple utility-scale solar, storage, and substation projects nationwide.

The role requires 8-10 years of field construction management with strong leadership, contract, and reporting skills. Travel and on-site supervision are expected to ensure project success and compliance.

Qualifications

• Engineering, construction management or architectural degree or equivalent experience.
• Field construction management experience (8-10 years, including supervisory skills).
• Leadership ability and problem-solving with urgency.
• Organizational and communication skills; drafting and computer skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting; scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple large, complex projects from start to closeout.
• Estimate and establish budgets and contract price (GMP/Lump Sum).
• Negotiate subcontracts and material purchases for cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure timely delivery of drawings and materials.
• Develop safety plans and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
• Supervise project team; conduct regular management and subcontractor meetings.
• Review contract terms and ensure compliance; document significant events and change orders.
• Support business development and participate in job interviews.
