Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple customer-facing projects in the Energy & Utilities space. This remote role partners with scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver complex software and services in a fast-paced environment.

You will build project plans, manage risks, and communicate clearly to enterprise clients across the US, Canada, and Mexico. Strong collaboration, judgment, and multilingual English/Spanish abilities are a plus; sponsorship is not required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project management or related fields.
• Experience in a rapidly scaling startup environment is a strong plus.
• Direct experience with enterprise customers, delivering software products or services.
• Ability to collaborate with scientists and engineers while understanding technical details.
• Experience in software, AI/ML, earth science, physics, or statistical analysis is a plus.
• Strong judgment on when to apply structure versus flexibility.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Multilingual skills, especially in English and Spanish, are a plus.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S., Canada, or Mexico without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for multiple client projects, ensuring successful delivery.
• Set and manage clear expectations with customers and internal teams.
• Build and maintain comprehensive project plans covering all aspects of the project.
• Ensure important information and commitments are tracked and met.
• Monitor project health using metrics and expert judgment.
• Enhance playbooks, tools, and templates for improved client engagement.
• Identify and manage risks, facilitating resolution and escalation as needed.
• Plan and facilitate effective meetings with clear agendas and outcomes.
• Create polished customer-facing materials and support technical teams in communication.
