Job summary

Pattern Energy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead RELAY transitions, from Development to Construction and from Construction to Operations, with empathy and clear accountability. You will drive cross-functional execution across Development, Construction, Operations, Finance, and Legal, ensuring timely handoffs and alignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as Senior Project Manager leading large cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven ability to manage high-stakes transitions and tight timelines.
• Experience influencing Development, Construction, Operations, Finance, Legal stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of stage-gate/portfolio management; enterprise tools familiarity is a plus.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills; servant leadership mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; PMP certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead RELAY transitions: Stage 4 (Development to Construction) and Stage 6 (Construction to Operations) with accountability.
• Coordinate deliverables across Development, Construction, Operations, Finance, Legal to ensure alignment.
• Ensure stage gate readiness with complete risk assessments and required approvals.
• Champion process integrity and use of RELAY enterprise tools and RASCI roles.
• Collaborate to evaluate transition effectiveness and implement improvements.
• Provide clear updates to leadership on progress, risks, and decisions.
• Model operational excellence with disciplined documentation and follow-through.
• Capture lessons learned and assign actions for sustainable change.
