Job summary

Brookfield Properties Development housing team seeks a Project Manager to oversee housing development for assigned assets, including due diligence on land acquisitions, coordinating design and engineering, and securing regulatory approvals and HOA turnover.

The role requires 7–10 years of related experience, a Bachelor’s degree in planning, construction management, or civil engineering, and strong MS Office and project management software skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in planning, construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 7–10 years of industry related experience in residential or commercial project management would be required.
• Proficiency in project management is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating potential land acquisitions, including feasibility studies and financial modeling.
• Support strategic planning and acquisition for new projects.
• Coordinate site planning, zoning, and entitlement processes.
• Own, develop, and maintain relationships with design consultants and negotiate contracts for services.
• Oversee preparation and review of plans for design standards and cost efficiency; lead multi-discipline consultant teams through permits.
• Manage Conditions of Approval and permitting requirements and coordinate landscape/architectural drawings.
• Report project changes to leadership; manage production workflow and consultant management per project.
