Job summary

Brookfield Properties is seeking a Property Manager to oversee daily operations of an apartment community, including leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and staff coordination. You will ensure service quality and compliance with housing standards while coordinating with the Corporate Office on performance and reporting.

The role requires 3–4 years in a supervisory property management capacity, a High School Diploma/GED, and an undergraduate or associate degree.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma/GED.
• Undergraduate Degree in General Studies or Associate Degree in General Studies.
• 3–4 years of supervisory experience in Property Management.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily operations of an apartment community including administration, leasing and occupancy, and maintenance coordination.
• Monitors compliance with policies, budgets and vendor contracts.
• Coordinates communication between property staff and Corporate Office; prepares reports and evaluations.
• Manages on-site staff performance, training, and emergency responses.
• Ensures housing quality standards and coordinates with Engineering on maintenance issues.
• Assists with marketing plans, advertising, and resident selection and leasing processes.
• Handles rent collection, move-in/move-out inspections, and related records.
