Job summary

Cogent CRE Recruitment seeks a Project/Development Manager to oversee 1–3 concurrent ground-up affordable and/or market-rate NYC projects (10–15 stories, 300–500 units each). The ideal candidate has about 10 years' owner/developer experience on 2+ NYC ground-up multifamily projects, including at least one affordable project.

You will lead the project lifecycle from design through close-out, coordinating with consultants, contractors, city agencies and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in real estate development or owner/developer roles.
• 2+ ground-up multi-family projects in NYC, including at least one affordable project.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction or real estate.
• Strong ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, city agencies and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, preconstruction, permitting through construction and close-out.

Job description

This vertically integrated real estate firm specialize in the development and conversion of a variety of asset types throughout NYC.

They are currently looking for a Project / Development Manager to oversee a 1-3 concurrent ground-up affordable and/or market rate projects in the boroughs (10-15 stories and 300-500 units per project).

They are looking for someone with circa 10 years' experience who has worked for an owner/developer on 2+ ground-up multi-family projects in NYC (preferably including one affordable), overseeing the project lifecycle from design, precon and permitting through construction and close out. You will have a Bachelors degree - ideally in engineering, architecture, construction or real estate - and you will have the drive and tenacity to meet deadlines without sacrificing attention to detail. The role will involve working closely with consultants, contractors, city agencies and internal/external stakeholders, so excellent interpersonal skills are a prerequisite.
