Job summary

STV is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead capital improvement programs from initiation through closeout, providing strategic oversight of scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and stakeholder coordination to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and aligned with district objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible project management experience overseeing large capital construction projects.
• Experience serving as an owner's representative on public sector projects.
• Experience leading projects from planning/design through construction/closeout.
• Strong knowledge of controls, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of capital improvement projects from planning through closeout.
• Develop and implement execution strategies aligned with district goals, budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, and construction activities ensuring technical excellence.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently balancing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, cash flow, quality, procurement, and risk.
• Monitor performance and resolve issues impacting success.
• Review schedules, cost reports, forecasts, and change orders for alignment.
• Ensure compliance with LAUSD standards, codes, and contract documents.
• Assemble, lead, and mentor project teams; assign responsibilities and monitor performance.
• Lead meetings and facilitate timely decision-making among participants.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource plans; monitor expenditures.
