Job summary

RAMConstruction in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Project Manager to lead all phases of construction, from pre-construction through closeout. You will supervise the construction team, coordinate estimating, bidding, value engineering, and scheduling, and ensure quality control and safety standards are met.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in commercial construction, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with Procore and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience working for a commercial GC.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience managing projects in commercial construction.
• Adept knowledge of construction principles, methods, techniques, print reading, contracting, and construction management.
• Proficient computerskills in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore project management software, Procore cost management software, and scheduling software.
• 100% detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scope.
• Experience with running multiple projects, preferably within RAMConstruction’s core markets.
• Excellent listening skills and strong communications skills.
• Ability to create and support team morale.

Responsibilities

• Full project responsibility in all areas of construction and construction management.
• Perform pre-construction activities including estimating, bidding, value engineering and scheduling.
• Manage project scheduling, scheduling updates, schedule management and documentation.
• Ensure project quality control and quality assurance that construction meets or exceeds plans, specifications, codes, and approved shop drawings.
• Responsible for change order estimating, tracking and commitments.
• Project documentation, correspondence, records, paperwork, shop drawings, submittals, procurements schedule, RFIs, etc.
• Open communication with management.
• Train and develop team members for overall company growth.
• Other duties as required.
