Job summary

RAM Construction is seeking a results-oriented Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate the construction team, manage schedules, budgets, and quality to ensure value and on-time delivery.

The role requires extensive field and office coordination, with emphasis on estimating, bidding, scheduling, and change management. You will mentor staff and collaborate with management to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience managing projects in commercial construction.
• Adept knowledge of construction methods, print reading, contracting, and construction management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Procore).

Responsibilities

• Full project responsibility in all areas of construction and construction management.
• Lead pre-construction activities including estimating, bidding, value engineering, and scheduling.
• Manage project scheduling updates and documentation.
• Ensure project quality control and assurance meet plans, specs, codes, and shop drawings.
• Handle change order estimating, tracking and commitments.
• Maintain project documentation, correspondence, records, submittals, procurements schedule, RFIs.
• Communicate openly with management and stakeholders.
• Train and develop team members for company growth.

• Haveadeptknowledgeofallprincipalsofconstruction,methods,techniques,printreading,contracting,andconstructionmanagement.
• ProficientcomputerskillsinMicrosoftOfficeSuite,projectmanagementsoftware(Procore),accountingcostmanagementsoftware(Procore),andschedulingsoftware.
• 100%detailed/hands-onknowledgeofprojectscope.
• Experiencewithrunningmultipleprojects,preferablywithinRAMConstruction’scoremarkets.
• Excellentlisteningskillsandstrongcommunicationskills.
• Abilitytocreateandsupportteammorale.
