Job summary

RAM Construction seeks a Senior Project Manager to provide top-tier service and quality across all phases of construction, from preconstruction through closeout. You will lead the project team, manage budgets, schedules, and documentation, while ensuring QA/QC and safety standards are met.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years managing commercial construction projects, strong communication, and hands-on proficiency with Procore and scheduling tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
  • Knowledge of construction principles, methods, print reading, contracting, and construction management.
  • Proficiency with Procore and scheduling software.
  • 100% detailed hands-on knowledge of project scope.
  • Experience running multiple RAM core markets projects.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Full project responsibility in all areas of construction and construction management.
  • Lead pre-construction activities including estimating, bidding, value engineering and scheduling.
  • Manage project scheduling, scheduling updates, schedule management and documentation.
  • Ensure project quality control and quality assurance to meet plans, specs, codes, and shop drawings.
  • Handle change order estimating, tracking and commitments.
  • Maintain project documentation, correspondence, records, shop drawings, submittals, procurement schedule, RFIs, etc.
  • Foster open communication with management and train/develop team members.

Job Description

A successful Senior Project Manager at RAM Construction will provide the highest level of service and quality implementing all members of the construction team starting with preconstruction services, throughout project construction, and finishing with successful project close out.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Full project responsibility in all areas of construction and construction management.
  • Must be able to perform project pre-construction activities including, estimating, bidding, value engineering and scheduling.
  • Manage project scheduling, scheduling updates, schedule management and documentation.
  • Responsible for project quality control and quality assurance that construction meets or exceeds the plans, specifications, codes, and approved shop drawings.
  • Responsible for change order estimating, tracking and commitments.
  • Project documentation, correspondence, records, paperwork, shop drawings, submittals, procurement schedule, RFI’s etc..
  • Open communication with management.
  • Train and develop team members for overall company growth.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience working for a commercial GC.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience Managing Projects in commercial construction.
  • Has adept knowledge of all principals of construction, methods, techniques, print reading, contracting, and construction management.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Procore), accounting cost management software (Procore), and scheduling software.
  • 100% detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scope.
  • Experience with running multiple projects, preferably within RAM Construction’s core markets.
  • Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to create and support team morale.
