We are a leading Commercial General Contractor specializing in tenant improvements, ground‑up construction and retrofits to existing buildings. Our specialized experience allows us to provide clients with an economical and reliable solution in many sectors, including healthcare, education, life science, corporate office (tenant & landlord), co‑working/creative office, entertainment, industrial, and retail and hospitality.

Job Description

A successful Project Manager at RAM Construction will provide the highest level of service and quality implementing all members of the construction team starting with pre‑construction services, throughout project construction, and finishing with successful project close out.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Full project responsibility in all areas of construction and construction management.
  • Perform project pre‑construction activities including estimating, bidding, value engineering and scheduling.
  • Manage project scheduling, updates, schedule management and documentation.
  • Responsible for project quality control and assurance that construction meets or exceeds the plans, specifications, codes, and approved shop drawings.
  • Responsible for change order estimating, tracking and commitments.
  • Project documentation, correspondence, records, paperwork, shop drawings, submittals, procurement schedule, RFIs, etc.
  • Open communication with management.
  • Train and develop team members for overall company growth.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience working for a commercial GC.
  • Minimum of 8 years managing projects in commercial construction.
  • Adroit knowledge of all principals of construction, methods, techniques, print reading, contracting, and construction management.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Procore), accounting cost management software, and scheduling software.
  • 100% detailed/hands‑on knowledge of project scope.
  • Experience running multiple projects, preferably within RAM Construction’s core markets.
  • Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to create and support team morale.
