Job summary

RAM Construction in California seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead the full spectrum of construction activities from pre-construction through closeout. You will coordinate with the project team to ensure quality, schedule, and cost controls are in place and adhered to on site.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial construction management, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with Procore and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience managing projects in commercial construction.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Procore, and scheduling/cost-management software.
• Knowledge of construction methods, print reading, contracting, and construction management.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for all areas of construction and project management.
• Perform pre-construction activities including estimating, bidding, value engineering, and scheduling.
• Manage project scheduling updates and documentation.
• Ensure project quality control and assurance to meet plans, specs, codes, and shop drawings.
• Handle change order estimating, tracking, and commitments.
• Maintain project documentation, correspondence, records, submittals, procurement schedule, RFIs.
• Maintain open communication with management.
• Train and develop team members for company growth.
• Perform other duties as required.

• ProficientcomputerskillsinMicrosoftOfficeSuite,projectmanagementsoftware(Procore),accountingcostmanagementsoftware(Procore),andschedulingsoftware.
• 100%detailed/hands-onknowledgeofprojectscope.
• Experiencewithrunningmultipleprojects,preferablywithinRAMConstruction’scoremarkets.
• Excellentlisteningskillsandstrongcommunicationskills.
